An educational and entertaining programme will highlight the region’s important historical role as a major crossroads of trade routes. On Saturday, 12 September at 10:00 a.m., the gates of the Krumbenowe merchant settlement will open once again in the Brewery Garden. Visitors will have the opportunity to step into the everyday world of the living prehistoric and medieval eras.
For two days, the Brewery Garden will transform into a living tribute to military history. The event will present the role and presence of the military in the Český Krumlov region, from the Second World War to the present-day Army of the Czech Republic. Visitors can look forward to an authentic military camp, displays of historic and modern military equipment, and an accompanying programme.
