We invite you to a unique exhibition of graphic works from the St. Agnes of Bohemia Symposium, taking place in the Dining Hall. The exhibition is part of the Life exhibition, where you can enjoy much more until the end of September!
Historian Jiří Bláha will lead a guided tour of a unique system of covered bridges and corridors which used to lead from today's Port 1560 all the way to the Castle Gardens. In Czech only.
Czech's favorite pop jokesters will play the Brewery Garden on August 30th.
Hans Looper Trans (a one-man show featuring vocals, guitar, and harmonica) will perform at Bistro Náplavka from 12:00 to 16:00.
On Tuesday, August 19 and 26, the Port 1560 grounds will be closed from 15:00 to 19:00 due to the theatre performance Karkulka Strikes Back.

Port means entrance, a gate, a harbour. And the date 1560? That is the year when in the barbican of Český Krumlov beer was brewed for the first time.
The first premises you come across is an architectural rarity: Portál, the portal of the visitor centre. The koehlschips used to be placed in here and now it has become the entrance gate to the premises.

Český Krumlov is one of the most picturesque towns not only in the Czech Republic, but in all Europe. Every person that visited this place just ones knows what we are talking about. There are thousands of reasons why to fall in love with this town on the Vltava River. Preserved historical centre full of beautiful Renaissance and Baroque buildings, dominant castle, the Latrán district, churches, monasteries, chapels, the picturesque squares as well as the meandering presence of the river. However, also the many cafés, restaurants, galleries, concerts, romantic streets, and nooks, where the time has stopped.
And the surrounding areas? Just as attractive as the town itself. Ideal for hiking, cycling, canoeing but also just wandering in two. Český Krumlov is a place rich with its history, culture and beautiful nature that attracts tourists from all around the world. And among its monuments a new one has been added now - the new cultural and social centre Port 1560.
The first mention can be found in the written documents from 1253, where Krumlov is identified as Chrumbenowe. In the Latin documents the town was called Crumlovia or Crumlovium.
