The first week of this year’s day camp at Port 1560 will take place from July 13 to July 17. The grounds of the historic brewery, with four permanent exhibitions, a spacious garden, and a magical graphic arts workshop, offer countless games, challenges, and adventures!The instructors speak Czech only.
Throughout the summer, visitors to Gallery Port 1560 can admire French landscape painting from 1850–1930, featuring works by leading representatives of Impressionism, alongside the art of Antonín Chittussi, one of the most important Czech landscape painters.
Come and join our morning Pilates session, which will help you start your day, boost your mood, and strengthen and tone your entire body. Mothers with children are welcome.
Due to the opening ceremony of the exhibition Odyssey to Luminosity, all exhibitions will be open only until 5:00 PM on July 14. The last admission will be possible at 4:00 PM.

Port means entrance, a gate, a harbour. And the date 1560? That is the year when in the barbican of Český Krumlov beer was brewed for the first time.
The first premises you come across is an architectural rarity: Portál, the portal of the visitor centre. The koehlschips used to be placed in here and now it has become the entrance gate to the premises.

Český Krumlov is one of the most picturesque towns not only in the Czech Republic, but in all Europe. Every person that visited this place just ones knows what we are talking about. There are thousands of reasons why to fall in love with this town on the Vltava River. Preserved historical centre full of beautiful Renaissance and Baroque buildings, dominant castle, the Latrán district, churches, monasteries, chapels, the picturesque squares as well as the meandering presence of the river. However, also the many cafés, restaurants, galleries, concerts, romantic streets, and nooks, where the time has stopped.
And the surrounding areas? Just as attractive as the town itself. Ideal for hiking, cycling, canoeing but also just wandering in two. Český Krumlov is a place rich with its history, culture and beautiful nature that attracts tourists from all around the world. And among its monuments a new one has been added now - the new cultural and social centre Port 1560.
The first mention can be found in the written documents from 1253, where Krumlov is identified as Chrumbenowe. In the Latin documents the town was called Crumlovia or Crumlovium.
