Port 1560's Gallery, in collaboration with young artists from the Secondary Art School of St. Agnes of Bohemia, invites you to an exhibition of graduation projects. It will showcase works from six artistic disciplines: Applied Photography and Media, Stage and Exhibition Design, Graphic Design, Applied Painting, Stonemasonry, and Book and Paper Design. The school is located just next door to the gallery, and their natural cooperation has now culminated in a unique project offering a cross-section of the students' four-year journey toward their own artistic expression.
The exhibition opens on June 7 and will be on view until July 6.
Each graduation project is a unique result of intensive individual work—from the initial idea through research, sketches, choice of techniques, to the final outcome. Students often explore deeply personal themes, working with their own texts, music, or photography, and defend their projects before a committee. Due to the specific nature of many of the projects, the gallery exhibition presents a varied selection—sometimes in the form of installations, other times through documentation or fragments.
The guided tour will offer a deeper insight into the artistic process. Visitors will get a glimpse into the world of a new generation of artists who bring not only skill but also sensitivity, courage, and a distinctive approach to their work. The exhibition is open to anyone interested in seeing where talent, guidance, and four years of dedicated work can lead.
