The third in a series of Thursday workshops this time led by the experienced artist Bohumír Nowak. In the next four workshops, we’ll show you that anyone can be an artist, regardless of previous experience.

The sessions will take place every Thursday from May 29, 2025, to June 19, 2025.
Workshop Suitability
This workshop is suitable for anyone who would like to learn this beautiful technique. No previous experience is necessary. The course is intended for both beginners and intermediate participants, as well as children aged 12 and up. We believe that the interaction between participants with different skill levels can be enriching and inspiring. Each session is held in a small group, allowing the instructor to devote individual attention to each participant’s needs and preferences.
Instructor: Mgr. Bohumír Nowak
He currently works as an art teacher at a secondary school in České Budějovice. He pursues his own artistic work in his studio at Hamerský Mill in Staré Dobrkovice, near Český Krumlov. His paintings are inspired by the local landscape, the beauty of nature, and art. He works with a variety of techniques and styles, and also creates land art, wood carvings, and works with ceramic clay.
A pleasant and friendly atmosphere during lessons is important to us, which is why we offer coffee or tea during the sessions.
Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Port 1560 Visitor Center.
Cancellation Policy
Each cancellation request is handled individually, and we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction. If there are not enough participants, we reserve the right to cancel the event and refund the full amount. In case of illness, another person may attend the course in your place.
If you cancel:
One week before the event, we will refund 100% of the paid amount.
Less than a week before the scheduled workshop, the course fee is non-refundable.
