St. Wenceslas Celebrations 2025 at Port 1560

The last weekend of September in Český Krumlov is dedicated to welcoming autumn with the St. Wenceslas Celebrations and the International Folklore Festival. We have prepared a special programme for you at Port 1560 as well!

Saturday, 27 September – Open Workshops
Creative workshops give children space for their own creations and to develop their imagination under the guidance of experienced instructors. Visitors young and old can try printmaking with plates and create their own images. The workshop is open to everyone, even without previous experience – come, create, and get inspired!
Workshops will be open from 10:00 to 18:00.
Price: 50 CZK per person for one print

Saturday, 27 September – Night Open Gallery
A joint exhibition titled From the Mist by artists Petr Nikl and Marianna Stránská. Experience a journey between reality and dream, where images, memories, and visions emerge from the unclear. All enhanced by the magic of St. Wenceslas Night! Open from 19:00 to 23:00. Free admission.

Sunday, 28 September – 50% Discount for All Visitors to the Gallery
On Sunday, 28 September, all visitors will enjoy a 50% discount on Gallery admission! The exhibition From the Mist, uniting artists Petr Nikl and Marianna Stránská, invites the audience on a journey between reality and dream, the tangible and the intangible. Through watercolours, drawings, and performative elements, the artists create a shared story where images, memories, and visions emerge from the indistinct. The curatorial selection by Radek Wohlmuth and Petra Hledík Jechová creates a fluid space that shifts with the viewer’s imagination.

Sunday, 28 September – 50% Discount for All Visitors to the Hvozd and the Palace
Come and enjoy our interactive exhibitions – Hvozd, with its unique dreamlike installation, or the Palace, which playfully presents life in the Renaissance Palace of Anna von Rogendorf as well as bourgeois life in the 19th century. Bring your children, discover the charm of the palace, order a historical meal and have it served, or take a ride on a bone-shaker bicycle!
