About the Instructor
Pavel Piekar is a Czech printmaker and artist and a member of the Hollar Association of Czech Graphic Artists. His work has long focused on historic towns, architecture, and landscapes. His drawings are distinguished by precise linework, exceptional attention to detail, and a remarkable ability to capture the atmosphere of a place.
One of his most fascinating talents is the ability to write and draw in mirror writing freehand—a rare skill reminiscent of Leonardo da Vinci's famous mirror script.
