Come and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in the historic heart of Český Krumlov!
During the Christmas season, the exhibitions will be closed only on 24 and 25 December; the rest of the holidays remain open. From 29 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, all exhibitions will be accessible every day – including Monday and Tuesday.
If you simply want to stroll through our Christmas-decorated grounds or use Port 1560 as a shortcut to the town centre, don’t worry – even when the exhibitions are closed, the outdoor passage through the site will always remain open.
At Port 1560 we take Christmas seriously – the exhibition Life in the Palace will be dressed in festive décor throughout Advent, and every Advent Saturday you can enjoy even more seasonal activities in our courtyard: holiday workshops, special tours, and even a unique beer wreath.
And as a special treat, throughout Advent all children up to 15 years old get free admission to all exhibitions!
